Doug has an incomparable sense of design and proportion in the landscape. His crew is outstanding. When my husband and i asked him to update our backyard, we knew the design and planting choices would be a daunting task. The space is large, on a steep slope, with lots of mature trees. Doug and his very hard working crew did a phenomenal job without damaging one tree. We were so happy, we asked him to develop our front scape as well. The front also had a steep slope with lots of ivy and some beautiful, architectural trees. He tore out the ivy and replaced it with a spectacular stairway; one that approached the trees from beneath their beautiful curved boughs. The effect is breathtaking. I highly recommend him!
Within 5 minutes of meeting Doug you'll believe you're talking to the right guy. Not only is he friendly and kind, his knowledge of the landscaping industry, plants, hardscapes, drainage, design, aesthetics, etc is indicative of his 20+ years in the business. He was great at listening to our ideas, providing suggestions, and providing a design and estimate at no cost. Doug and his crew have completed about 2/3rd of this $65,000 hardscape and softscape project and I cannot express how IMPRESSED I am with the attention to detail and level of quality with his work.
